Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through (カバー)Vocal: Sheena (SynthsizerV)Chous: Mai 、桜乃そら、花隈千冬(SynthesizerV)Music & Video : SORAsMIllustration: ノーコピーライトガール (X: @nocopyrightgirl) 原曲作詞・作曲・Vocal: Jim Steinman作品コード (外) 0R1-2639-2 (ISWC: T-070.243.208-3)1981年5月たぶん馴染みの無い人が多い曲でしょう。全米チャートは1981年の週間で最高が32位。この曲を聴くと佐野元春さんのSOMEDAYとかを思い出すんですよね。アレンジの雰囲気とか良いですよね。作られたJimSteinmanさんが2021年に亡くなられていたのを最近知りました。この方はソングライターとしては超一流。麻倉未稀さんがカバーした「ヒーロー」(TVドラマのスクールウォーズの主題歌)の作者。そちらの原曲は映画FootlooseのサントラでBonnie Taylerが歌っていた Holding Out for a Hero。この曲には日本語版があってセイント・フォーというアイドルユニットがカバーしています。1984年11月にザ・オーディションという彼女たちが主人公の映画が公開され、その時のサントラに入っています。実は日本語のカバーがあると知ったのは2023年…。それを知ってから日本語版でカバーしようとオケを作っていたのですが、JASRACで調べてみると作品コードが出てこない…ということでそちらは無理そうなので、作品コードの登録がある原曲をカバーしました。SynthesizerVで英語も日本語も歌えるのがSheenaだったので、良いタイミングでした。日本語メインのMai、桜乃そら、花隈千冬に英語コーラスを歌わせるのも中々難しいのでSheenaも入れて構成しています。イラストはノーコピーライトガールさん(X: @nocopyrightgirl)の作品を利用させていただきました。例によって耳コピですので拙さは目をつぶっていただければ...
